Ako has one of the medicinal smelling bullets out of the clip again and is looking at it closely while she sits at a table.

Well it won't do pumpkins."I didn't really expect you too," says Ako as she tears the paper off before storing the sandals to prevent double wrapping, "But I figure it's worth taking a look to see if there's an entry in the book that matches the pistol, or the ammo. Maybe both together."

His little forcefield unit, he has. He wears it most of the time, these days. It is small and doesn't get in the way, so there's no real reason not to.

Ako being, so long as she has the ribbon of her Sylladex on her wrist, as well equipped as she ever is. Give or take a few things in her room that are too large to store it hold basically everything she owns anyway.

Once Enzo has his refreshment and they're on their way again, "So, I'm thinking a quick check to make sure nothing is running, and then see if I can turn anything up in the book?"

He approaches the machine. "Looks like something from my dad's lab."

"Well, there's only so many ways to build big machinery?" she ventures, "Anyway, that console at the center is where Karkat-san was controlling everything..."
Not that there is an abundance of other controls to mess with, but details.

Enzo nods and approaches the console, ears alert for the humming of machinery and eyes for indicator lights or other signs of activity.

"It looks okay. There's power, but nothing seems active. I think you're clear."

The display comes on as Ako nudges a dial.

Another small nudge causes the item displayed to change wildly while the alphanumeric code increase calmly.
Mostly because Homestuck canon has fixed only a handful of the codes used and a lot of that was for keyboard mashing.no subject
